ESMM are delighted to announce that we are going to host a meeting of the Morris Ring next year, to mark our 90th Anniversary as a side, over the weekend of the 16th July 2016.
Keep the weekend free! More details to follow.
We will have a separate webpage for the event.
A most memorable day out dancing with our friends from Ravensbourne MM, Thaxted MM and visiting from Australia. Adelaide MM. The day was superbly hosted by Westminster MM,
Here are some photos from the day with additional ones in the 2015 Gallery.
We will be at the Westminster Arms in Storey’s Gate (London SW1P 3AT) at lunchtime, at 12.00 for beer and food, aiming to dance at 1.00 there and then move on.
The pub is near the Houses of Parliament, there’s a link to the location in upcoming events.
The other sites will be at are:
Duke of York Steps off Pall Mall
Glasshouse Street followed by beer in one of the pubs in the street
Gerrard Street
Adelaide Street followed by beer in the Harp
Stroll down to the Jugged Hare near Victoria Station, dance there and then off for some dinner.
Your guess is as good as mine (at time of posting), as to exactly when we’ll be turning up at the sites after the Westminster Arms as there isn’t a timetable. It depends on how hot it is, and therefore how much dancing we’ll want to do before going to the next pub.
Hope to see you there.
There have been a few changes to the website;
The 2015 photo gallery has been updated to cover;

This is now our 5th year we have been supporting the Banstead May Fayre. It is a popular social event that attracts large crowds lining the closed High Street for the parade which consists of many local community organisations and schools.
Then the focus shifts to the Arena in All Saints Church grounds where there is a carnival atmosphere with all sorts of displays performed. ESMM were performing just after the May Queen was crowned. We then moved on to the High Street and did two slots. The photo’s below are taken outside Boots.
Our summer dancing season started with a great evening at The Plough, St John’s, Redhill. We did two sets to appreciative audiences then retired inside to some of the wonderful hospitality that guvnor Dave Stanley is famous for. See you again next year.
We have finalised the programme for 2015.
All dates are now in the Calendar and is fully searchable. It is also downloadable so you can integrate it into most on-line calendars etc. Now you need never miss an event we are dancing at.
Have a look at it or download a version for yourself to print of at your leisure from the link to the right.
The wait is almost over. The 2015 Programme is nearing completion. After weeks of planning, it is due to be published by the end of March.
